Abstract

Women's psychological well-being is influenced by many complex factors such as gender-specific stressors, the need to balance work and life, and structural bias. The paper reviews major challenges that women are confronted with in a variety of industrial settings, outlining how workplace culture, social expectations, and insufficient mental health resources affect their general well-being. The paper also examines the interplay of gender socialization, stress responses, coping mechanisms, and organizational psychology to identify effective strategies for creating a supportive and inclusive workplace environment that prioritizes women’s mental well-being. In a nutshell, it recommends that employers prioritize the mental well-being of women, which would eventually help their entire workforce.

Author Biographies

  • Dr. S. Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Professor, Department of Education and Training, MANUU, Hyderabad

    Dr. S. Abdul Jabbar has been involved in teaching for the past 12 years and is currently an Assistant Professor of Education at the Department of Education and Training, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. He holds Master of Arts degrees in English and Sociology, and he earned his M.Ed. and Ph.D. from the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore (NCERT). He has an impressive academic record, having published eight books and more than thirty research papers in various recognized and reputed journals. Additionally, he has presented over thirty-five research papers at national and international seminars and conferences. His areas of interest include the pedagogy of English, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), and Academic Writing. He has successfully guided one Ph.D. scholar and is currently supervising another Ph.D. candidate.

  • Mohd Gufran Barkati, Assistant Professor, Department of Education and Training, MANUU, Hyderabad

    Mohd Gufran Barkati is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Education and Training, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad. He completed his education from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. Before joining MANUU, he worked with Radhakrishnan Teachers Training College for Women and the Directorate of Education, GNCT, Delhi. He has published various papers in national and international journals and contributed several chapters to edited books and SLM. He has also presented papers at various national and international seminars and conferences. His areas of interest include pedagogy of social studies, educational technology, guidance and counselling, and educational management, planning and finance.

  • Mr. Mohammad Tabish, Assistant Professor, Law School, MANUU, Hyderabad

    Mohamad Tabish is an Assistant Professor at MANUU Law School, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (A Central University), Hyderabad. He completed his B.A.LL.B and LL.M and is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Mr. Tabish is UGC-NET & JRF(MANF) qualified, and has made significant contributions to his field through the publication of research papers, and book chapters in various national and international journals and books. In addition, he has presented numerous papers at national and international seminars and conferences. His area of interest is Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
