Corporate Restructuring - Implications on Indian Companies

Corporate restructuring reconfigures organisational hierarchy, its internal structure and operational procedures. Businesses under restructuring achieve aims like becoming more responsive and competitive towards changes in the market. Further, the study aims to examine the influences of mergers, acquisitions, and demergers on the corporate restructuring of Indian companies. For evaluating the inferences, the study employed a primary data collection process through a survey of 101 participants from an Indian organisation. The research findings find that the overall mergers help in driving stronger results during restructuring. It also emphasises that phenomena of corporate restructuring positively help in transforming organisational performance, and it is also widely known as an important tool for the landscape of the Indian corporate sector.
