The Research Review Journal of Social Science (RRJSS) follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to uphold the quality, objectivity, and fairness of published research.

Manuscript Submission
Authors submit manuscripts electronically through the RRJSS online platform. All submissions are anonymized by removing author and institutional details, including file properties and metadata.

Initial Screening
The Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editors conduct an initial screening to check compliance with journal guidelines, formatting requirements, and originality (using plagiarism detection software). Manuscripts not meeting these basic criteria are promptly rejected with constructive feedback.

Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. In keeping with the double-blind process, both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript on:

  • Originality and significance of the research
  • Soundness of methodology and data analysis
  • Clarity, coherence, and organization of writing
  • Relevance to the journal’s scope and interests
  • Quality and appropriateness of references and citations

Reviewers submit detailed reports with recommendations for acceptance, revision, or rejection.

Editorial Decision
The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with Associate Editors, considers reviewer reports before making a final decision, which may be:

  • Acceptance without revision
  • Acceptance with minor revisions
  • Major revisions required
  • Rejection

Authors receive anonymized reviewer feedback along with the editorial decision. Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted within the given timeframe, after which the Editor-in-Chief evaluates the revisions before making the final decision.

Publication
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting and proofreading to ensure accuracy and adherence to journal style guidelines. Authors are required to sign a copyright transfer agreement. Final articles are published online in the upcoming issue of RRJSS.

Ethical Standards
RRJSS strictly follows ethical guidelines for scholarly publishing, including confidentiality, conflict-of-interest disclosures, and plagiarism prevention. All manuscripts are screened with plagiarism detection software, and authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work. The journal also welcomes constructive feedback from authors and reviewers to improve the peer review process continuously.

Through this robust peer review system, RRJSS demonstrates its commitment to publishing high-quality, ethical, and globally relevant research in social sciences and humanities.
